STUDENT WORKSHOP: "3 Minute Thesis"

Ever wanted to explain what you’re studying to someone outside your field — and have it actually make sense? That’s the challenge (and the fun) of 3 Minute Thesis.

Here’s how it works: students each share a short PowerPoint (just a few slides) about their field of study, in three minutes or less. Then the floor opens up for questions from fellow students.

You don’t need to be a polished speaker — you just need to be curious about your own subject and happy to chat about it.

Prefer to listen and ask questions instead ? That’s also welcome! Besides, what’s the good of presenting without an attentive audience?

It’s a great way to see what other students are working on, practise explaining your own field simply, and pick up a few new connections along the way
